ChiroMission President Builds Home in the Name of Giving, Loving and Serving - After taking a tour with Pastor Joel Pena in a small Haitian/Dominican Village called Agua Negra (Black Water) - ChiroMission President and CoFounder, Dr. JC Doornick made a comitment to donate the necessary funds to rescue 3 Orphans by building them a home that will give them shelter and keep them from the flood waters. They have no parents and the Pastor has arranged to have the nice woman in the pictures care for the children. Chiropractors have more to give than just adjustments. They are Servant Leaders with compassion for human beings.
ChiroMission March 2010 Delivering Food to Haitian Village - In our effort to help raise funds and awareness we took the $24,000 that we raised with the help of donors like Take Shape For Life and the members of the Markson Connection and provided food and water to many of the less fortunate. The images don't do the day justice. It was a great day to be alive.
ChiroMission March 2010 Agua Negra Haitian Village: The experience we had in this Haitian Village gave us a very real look at what it means to have nothing. We found three little orphans with no parents living in what you and I call garbage. In the name of Chiropractic, Dr. JC Doornick comitted to building them a house that will keep them dry and away from the "Agua Negra" (Black Water)
